Dulux predicts that more earthy brown colours will be popular this year, when people consider their colour schemes, with rich burgundies and pinks providing highlights throughout the home.

Yellow, the colour of sunshine, is making a comeback! It takes me back to the early 2000s when we painted the walls of our first house in a cheerful yellow - quite the upgrade after years of apricot tones! Now yellow ceilings are back in vogue. This colour is sure to and brighten any cloudy day!

Whites and pale greys are still in style - thank goodness! I always recommend these shades for investors as they make it so much easier for future tenants to match their furniture and décor effortlessly.

The overall theme for colour predictions this year is ‘bringing the outside in’. Perhaps driven by more people working from home and taking inspiration from nature, whilst gazing out of their study window.
