Working in my own business can be a lonely experience sometimes.

You have no one else to bounce ideas off (except my husband when he has time) and to chat with around the water cooler (i.e. the fridge if you are working from home).

That is why I love getting out and about at Networking events and talking to fellow lady business owners… there is power in “Girl Power”.

In Newcastle we have an abundance of Networking groups catering to ladies, and they are a great place to meet other business women, have a serious chat about business life and then just a good old chat about clothes and shoes.

I would thoroughly recommend popping along to some of your local Networking events, you might just meet lifelong friends like I have!
